The Need for a New Definition

As both a mental health inpatient and outpatient, I understood why the restrictions on grooming products and devices were in place — to prevent patients from harming themselves or others, and to protect the facilities from liability — but they still felt overly controlling and even detrimental to recovery.

This is my first essay that involves reporting. It’s also the first essay that I’ve written on spec.
